Release 2.11 marks the launch of a completely new frontend featuring a significantly modernised and improved design together with enhanced usability and performance. Here are some insights into the new GUI, which is now available in the beta version:
Login screen
Access credentials for multiple schedulix servers and users can be easily saved and selected.
Menu, navigation and editors
The elements of the previous main desktop are called up in the new frontend via the menu (1), which is organised by tasks, in one window (single page view). The navigator (2) can be shown and hidden; a new tab (3) opens in the application for each editor or monitor. If several objects are open for editing in a session, rename and delete operations are automatically synchronised when saving the files in this session.
Improved visualisation of dependencies
As well as the tree view, the new frontend also includes graphical representations for the hierarchy and workflow. Complex dependencies can be visualised in different graphical modes and edited directly in the editor in the usual way.
